THE FIREBOAT JOHN J. HARVEY

In 1999, a team of investors, led by NYC architect Huntley Gill, salvaged a discarded fireboat from a city scrapyard on the romantic belief that the forgotten vessel still had value.

Two years later, Huntley and his resurrected boat, manned by a crew of improbable heroes, helped extinguish the 9/11 fires at the World Trade Center.

This is their story.
